	Thank You Margaret! Margaret Clark of Wings Equine & Canine Massage came out the second weekend of February 2012 and gave two of our geldings a most thorough and alleviating massage. She also shared her skills and talents by explaining to us what she was doing, and how we could help our herd members with daily stretches, light massage and specific exercises. We so appreciate the time Margaret donates to our rescue, giving of her exceptional talent and expertise in helping to heal horses and dogs. Thanks Margaret !!!
Thank You Allie and Kristen! Pictured here is seven-year-old Allie with her mother and Elvis. The family came by on February 11, 2012 for a visit and to drop off the donations received at Allie’s birthday party. In a note Kristen, the mother, said "The first thing they said in the car when we left was when can we come back? They have talked non stop about the visit with their friends at school, brownies, etc. and also drew pictures and shared photos." A BIG THANK YOU ALLIE, AND A HUG!
	Thank You Cranky Crow Studios! Circle F would like to thank Cranky Crow Studios for their recent Greeting Card fundraiser for our rescue and a number of other animal/wildlife rescues. With their enchanting and artistic cards, they are helping to raise funds, awareness and aid for animals in all 'walks' of life!
Thank You Madelin and Claire! For the third year in a row Maddy and Claire, two of 32 young people in a riding program with Towne Country Equestrian Inc., Vancouver, organized a Christmas function with donations designated for Circle F Horse Rescue. Several of the riders visited Circle F in January bringing with them a donation of over $1400.00! What a grand group of young people. A HUGE THANK YOU!
	Thank You Kevan Garecki at H4 Services! Kevan Garecki at H4 Services Ltd. has always been there for our rescue throughout the years. His extensive experience, calm and easy patience, and ability to understand horses and the needs of each one is invaluable to us. Kevan has been able to haul the most timid and petrified horses to and from our rescue and they always come off the trailer with calm confidence, having gained new and positive skills. We can't thank Kevan enough for all the help he so readily offers us, and he is our #1 recommended horse transporter!
Thank You Equi-Heath Canada! On Sunday, January 15th the Circle F Health Team was extended the generous invitation to attend the Equi-Health Canada hands on Equine First Aid Clinic in Surrey. It was an absolutely invaluable experience for our dedicated Health Team. Thank you Equi-Canada for such a wonderful opportunity!
	Thank You Shelagh Niblock! For the second year in a row Shelagh Niblock (Viterra bovine/equine nutritionist) presented for Circle F volunteers making equine nutrition a special focus at the rescue. Circle F would like to extend a very warm thank you to Shelagh for her invaluable knowledge and commitment, which has led to the creation of a dynamic and specialized feeding program from which all of our horses can benefit. Thank you Shelagh and Viterra for your continued support!.
Thank You Vancouver Foundation! Circle F Horse Rescue Society is pleased to announce that the Vancouver Foundation has approved a grant of $6,860.00 towards the installation of a rain water retention system for the house and barn! The well water on site is no longer safe for human or horse consumption. The Vancouver Foundation has a designated fund for animal welfare and is a leader in this field providing a number of supporting grants across the province.
	Thank You Erika-Shaye Gair! We would like to thank child actress Erika-Shaye Gair for her very generous cash donation in support of our rescue and our upcoming Poker Ride. Erika-Shaye is a big follower of ours through our web site. She visited the rescue July 17, 2011 and a slideshow of her with our horses can be seen here. Thank you again Erika-Shaye and we'll be watching for your first horse movie!
Thank You Cavalia! All the Circle F volunteers and their friends and family would like to say a huge Thank You to the people of Cavalia. We were invited to attend the evening show of April 23rd free of charge, and it was a truly amazing experience. The beautiful and graceful horses, the riders, the music, and the acrobatics were superbly melded to create a magical evening which we will never forget. Truly Inspiring and a most wonderful gift to us. Thank you so much !
	Thank You Rebecca! All our horses and volunteers would like to thank Rebecca McDiarmid for her ongoing support of our rescue and for putting our horses in her "Adoption Pen". Each month in her ads, she features one of our horses available for adoption. Rebecca is a terrific horsewoman and an outstanding Realtor in the Fraser Valley.
Abbotsford Community Foundation Abbotsford Community Foundation awarded a grant of $1,300 to Circle F to help with vet bills during 2011. The Foundation also made available $1079.00 to purchase an Ecowash n Vac that will be used to do deep cleaning of the horse’s coats which can often be penetrated by irritating materials. The grants came from a special fund, The Mary Victoria Wakefield Animal Welfare Fund. In the picture, Darcy Bowie, niece of Mary Wakefield, is presenting the cheques to Walter Paetkau, president, Circle F.
	Jonathan Field Helping Circle F Horses! Circle F would like to extend a warm and appreciative thank you to Jonathan Field (www.jonathanfield.net) for his generous support of our rescue. Partial proceeds from one of his DVD's called "The Catch" that sold at the Mane Event this October were given to our rescue to help us continue helping horses. We would also like to thank our long time friend and supporter, Kevan Garecki of H4 Hauling (www.h-4.ca) for recommending us for this opportunity.
Do Yoga ~ Save a Horse! A big thanks goes out to Gloria and Chris for their long time support of Circle F. They offer yoga classes twice a week on a drop in basis in Mission, and donations go directly to helping our herd !!! Feel free to drop in and attend a session, or call/email them for more information! Thanks so much Guys !!! If you live in or near Mission, please consider downloading and printing this 8½” x 11” poster and putting it up in a local coffee shop or other conspicuous, busy place to help increase attendance.
	Cavallo 'Comes To The Rescue'!!! The generous folks at Cavallo Horse and Rider Inc. www.cavallo-inc.com donated three sets of their wonderful Simple Boots to our rescue. Now we can take our rescue horses out on the trails with their comfort ensured. This not only makes them more adoptable, but also gives them enjoyment while they are awaiting a new family. A big Thank You to the terrific and very giving people at Cavallo for helping our horses and making such a fantastic product!
